The weather sucks.

We left Tokyo on a Bullet Train or Shinkansen.  These things go about 450 mph.  They are so fast it makes me dizzy.  The plan was to go to Hakone, were you can have spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.  Unfortunately, it rained all day.  I'm the worst at complaining when it comes to rain because it always comes at the most inconvenient of times.  Because of the overcast there was no way possible to view Mt. Fuji.  We already had our train tickets and we were in Hakone for the day, so Cammie and I took the bus ride over to the edge of the lake, where you can ride a pirate ship to the the other side.  Had it been a clear day the most spectacular view of Mt. Fuji would have been seen from the lake.  On the other side of the lake you can take a Gondola to the city of Gora.  Unfortunately the Gondola was closed due to the wind.  So we rode a bus for an hour to get back to the Train Station.  In no way was this day anything to talk about except for the fact that we did get to go into an onsen, also called a hot springs.

Being bums in the subway.

The Japanese really like their soft serve ice cream.  I really like the green tea flavor.

This is at the Begonia Gardens Hot Springs.

Can you tell its raining?

The onsen was called Begonia Botanical Gardens.  It was was outside with a view of the mountains.  It was my first time going completely butt ass naked into a hot springs.  It was against the rules to wear a bathing suit or towel or anything into the onsen.  They also make you take a bath with soap and shampoo provided before going into the onsen.  If only I could perfectly describe how this place was, and what a Japanese public bath looks like.  Just be aware that you must be comfortable with public nudity before going to the onsen.  Women and men are separate of course.
